Andras Ketzer, London
Originally from Hungary, now based in London, Andras is a 28 year old director, animator, designer who was inspired by the old school ways of the early Commodore 64 computer graphics styles, even belonging to their underground club! He is very technical and enjoys spending time R&D-ing new visual techniques.
His short, ‘Le Trippin’ was a tribute to rock and roll music, as he migrated to the land of electronic. The short is about his travels from ‘Sun Street’ in the capital to the countryside with friends, and the dodgy 2nd class trains that used to get them there. The images represent a warm feeling that he expressed through the warm designs, colours and reddish shades. Andras shot, edited and animated the whole thing, even doing the sound FX himself. It was recently selected for best animation in the Rushes Festival London. Andras loves experimenting with filmic and CG styles in shorts and music videos, and has recently completed 2 commercials.
